2017 October Favorites

November 10, 2017 Everyday Life, Health & Beauty

So a couple of days ago, I created a poll on my Instagram story (@blessedbrilliantbeautiful) asking what you all wanted to see on the blog next! You all voted for October Favorites! I hope you enjoy this mixture of my favorites in beauty, books, home decor, fashion, and accessories. If you like something, click on the name and it will direct you straight to the link! So without further ado, here are my October Favorites for this year!

Beauty

#1 Cats Pajamas by Laura Lee Los Angeles

So, I absolutely love Laura Lee! If you don’t know her, she is a beauty vlogger on youtube! I have been following her on youtube for a while and was so excited when she released her very own eyeshadow palette! This neutral pallet has a mixture of mattes and shimmers that create the perfect natural look! I don’t think there has been a day that has gone by that I haven’t used at least one shade on my eyes! It is probably my favorite palette this October! This palette perfect for beginners and yes brown girls, the colors come out beautiful on darker skin tones! It is currently sold out but keep an eye out on Instagram and I will let y’all know when it restocks!

#2 Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter | Josie Maran

To all my girls with super dry skin, this is for you! OMG I typically don’t like using lotions because my skin is super sensitive to fragrances and harsh chemicals but, I have truly fallen in love! This lightweight yet SUPER moisturizing body butter does wonders for my dry skin. Plus, IT SMELLS LIKE COOL WHIP!

#3 Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay | Origins

I am actually wearing this mask right now as I type! If you are looking for a calming mask that gently exfoliates at the same time, stop your looking because here it is! Every time I use this face mask, my face feels so moisturized and soft. It has little beads in it that help exfoliate while the rose calms any redness or irritation! Absolutely one of my favorites!

#4 Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation |Make Up Forever

Girl…GIRL! This foundation is literally magic! I started using it about a year ago and once I ran out, I never got another. (Mistake!) When I heard that they were reformulating, I decided to try it, again…and I fell in love…again! If you like medium to full coverage but don’t like to look like you put cake batter on your face, try this foundation out. Although it is a little pricey, it is so worth it!

Home Decor

#5  Solid Basketweave Throwin Rosette | West Elm

This is absolutely one of my favorite home decor staples. Not only does it look super cute it is soooo warm! I had the opportunity to serve as a college ambassador for West Elm and truly fell in love with their products! I can’t thank  West Elm enough for their generosity and love! Don’t forget to get 15% off any of their products with your college email! It is so worth it!

#6 Candle | Anthropologie

So sad because it is almost gone! If you know me, you know I am a candle girl. And no, not those grown-up smelling candles, the ones that smell like cookies and Christmas! I randomly went into Anthropologie for the first time a week go and picked up this super sweet smelling candle that smells like macaroons! How cute right?! I loved how it wasn’t too strong and perfectly complemented my pink and gold room! Check them out for home decor!

Fashion & Accessories

#7 Cameron Street Jeweled Hope | Kate Spade

If you guys follow my Insta (@blessedbrilliantbeautiful) you have probably seen this baby on my feed. It is probably one of my favorite cross body bags for school! In college, sometimes it’s annoying to carry around a purse and a book bag. This cute bag is perfect for just the things I need!

#8 Humidi-Tea Nail Polish | OPI

So I am not really a girl who gets her nails done a lot but when I do, I always go for a light pink or a nude. Loving this color by OPI to compliment my girly side! Y’all know I love a good pink!

Books/Podcasts

#9 Set Apart Girl Podcast

Looking to spend some time with God but you don’t have the time (or money) to get Bible study books or college study groups! Visit setapartgirl.com and listen to their podcasts! I absolutely love these 15 minutes that I usually listen to walking to school or taking the bus back to my apartment. It is the perfect way to start or turn down for the day!

#10 Bloom Daily Planner

Who doesn’t love a good planner! If there is a planner out there, I bet I have tried it! I am in love with this simple planner from Bloom Planners! My favorite feature is the first page before the monthly spread that allows you to write down goals for personal, growth, relationship, health & fitness, family & home, fun & adventure, finances, and work/school! Love planners that give me the motivation to get stuff done!

Well, that’s it for now! Check out my 2017 Summer MakeUp Haul from earlier this year! Keep a look out on my Instagram Story to vote on more posts like these! I hope you enjoyed my 2017 October Favorites! See you soon and remember that you are blessed, brilliant, and beautiful!
