A Summer of Growth + A Peek at my Summer Bucket List

May 6, 2018 Everyday Life

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. -Colossians 2:7

Happy summertime loves! Can you believe it? We made it through another semester (or season)! My last semester in college consisted of a lot of change and although I was not feeling it at first, I think I am ready to embrace it! I am beyond excited for summer 2018! I plan on doing  a lot of praying, traveling, reading, but most importantly, growing this summer! Although Spring is my actual favorite time of the year, Summer has always been a season of growth for me and I am extremely excited to fully let go and let God do his thing!

Today on the blog, as promised, I will be sharing my summer bucket list! I think that during the summer it can be so easy for us to loose focus on ourselves and our goals. I think the best way to make a summer bucket list is to really understand what you want out of this season of life and use your goals as inspiration. After spending some time with God pondering this question, I think God wasnt me to focus this summer on my growth spiritually and emotionally and I couldn’t be more excited!

For the past three years in college I have spent my summers in Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh in the summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I have had so many amazing memories and can’t wait to get back to the city right after I come home from Paris! That’s right! In one week I will be on a non-stop flight to Paris, France where I will be studying abroad for a month! What a great way to start off celebrating my summer of growth! (Don’t worry, a blog post about that will be coming in a couple of days!) If you have no idea what to do this summer and are in need of a little inspo, check out my bucket list and go forth and ask God to guide you on you summer adventure! Enjoy!
