This summer has really been a summer of blessings. I not only had the opportunity to travel to Spain, but I decided to take a couple of summer classes at my university and let me tell you, remaining confident that you can do anything with Christ really and truly allows for blessings to roll right into your life.
While here in Pittsburgh, I got accepted to intern as a contributing writer with an online magazine called ForeverTwentySomethings. Click on the link to read my newly published article below.
ForeverTwentySomethings: Theresa Dickerson, Author
I am beyond excited to start this new journey in my life. I applied to this internship without the slightest thought that I would actually be excepted. Well, I was praying that I would be however, I wasn’t going to be too bothered if it didn’t work out. I have been trying to become more at peace with the flow of life and not worry too much when circumstances don’t necessarily go my way. Anyway, when I received an offer, I was ecstatic! I didn’t care what people thought at that moment because in my mind, God had just blessed me with an opportunity to spread kind words to the world through my gift of writing.
I notice that blessings usually come when we least expect it. Of course when we really want something, we typically do everything in our power to obtain it. However, it is important to keep in mind that God’s timing is more powerful and reliable.
I urge you as blessed, brilliant, beauties to find peace within this timing. Don’t give up on a goal or dream because it doesn’t seem to be working out fast enough for you. Don’t stop working hard because you feel like no change is happening. Use your faith as a guide to continue to persevere for greatness because it is obtainable. Before you know it, a blessing will be rolling your way. It just takes a little faith, patience, and time.
I pray you have many blessings come into your life this week and remember, you are blessed, brilliant, beautiful, and capable of great things.
“She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.”
