Before you go:
- Check the weather (Go on days with a slight overcast so you are not drowning in your sweat from the sun. Trust me, you will thank me later)
- Pick your lightweight travel outfit
- Check the swimming hazards for the day
- Pick a beach that is open to the public
- Locate available parking beforehand (sometimes it is free, sometimes it is not)
- Respect the environment at all times
- Remember people live there so respect their space
- Be conscious of your noise level when you get there
- Be prepared to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated
- Plan how long it will take you to get there, how long you plan on staying, and how long it will take you to get back.
- Look up cute seafood restaurants for lunch
