Mini Beauty Haul 

So funny story. Well it wasn’t funny at the time but nevertheless, last weekend I got the opportunity to travel to New York to represent my University at  Her Conference 2016 sponsored by Her Campus Media. How awesome right?! But, on my way to the airport I realized that I forgot one important thing. Did you guess? Yup! I left my makeup in my dorm! So long story short, this mini beauty haul was inspired by my frantic attempt to replace my makeup necessities for that weekend. Not all of these products are drug store products but, they are starting to become some of my faves and quite the addition to my makeup collection. Hope you love it! 

 Face Makeup:

So I ran out of my favorite foundation from Makeup Forever and went to Sephora to get a new bottle. Instead of walking out of Sephora with my regular foundation, I walked out with this one! It’s Benefit’s new Hello Flawless foundation with the Stay Flawless primer. I love how light it feels on my face when I apply it with my new Ulta makeup blender. 

 Makeup Brushes:

I use to not be someone who is big on investing in makeup brushes however, as the years have gone by, I have seen a difference in my makeup throughout the day when applied properly with good brushes. This Sephora brush and Ulta IT brushes are perfect for the job! 

 Contour, Highlight, and Setting Powder:

The NYX Wonder Stick is a contour-highlight duo that I got at the drug store. I love how natural it looks and the fact that I don’t look like a crazy lady with lines all over my face when it’s applied. (This is important lol.) I usually blend it in with my Ulta Makeup Blender to get a nice natural finish! This Sephora setting powder works really well with the foundation listed above as well as with any type of concealor. Always remember to set that makeup girl!  Eye Makeup/Pallets: 

So I haven’t really got to try my new Naked Smoky Eye Pallet yet but I’m in love with Tart’s Day/Night Pallet. It’s so natural and works great with my brown skin for an everyday look for class! Also, the micro brow pencil from NYX is sooooo amazing. It’s so easy to shape my eyebrows because sometimes with the thicker pencils, it gets a little cray cray.  Well that’s all for now.
