As much as life is full of happy times, exciting memories, and unexpected surprises, there comes some not so happy times, not so exciting memories, and unexpected disappointments. However, as I continue to grow as a young woman, I have learned from other experienced women ranging from my mother to my favorite teachers that it is not the situation that happens to you that defines your circumstance, but the way in which you react to it.
Regardless of what crazies may disagree, we as women are powerful, smart, passionate, and most importantly, strong. The more we learn to focus on the positives in life and learn to disregard those negative voices in our heads, the more we become the best individuals we can be. Instead of becoming disappointed in the lost job, bad money problems, what people say or think, take that inner strength to change that disguised disappointment into a blessing through the power of your positivity.
Although it sometimes is hard not to become full of rage when your driving and someone cuts you off or want to say some not so kind words to the person who doubts and lies about you, in the end, changing your thoughts and motives to something more positive than before is not only going to do wonders for how people see you, but how you see yourself.
Someone wise once told me, “What you focus on is what you move toward.” Everyday I have a reminder set at ten in the morning in my phone to read this quote. Although this quote can be applied to almost everything, I like to think about focusing on positivity. With a positive mind comes a positive heart and a positive soul. So my blessed, brilliant, beauties, take control of your positivity and uncover those disguised disappointments and show the world how they are blessings.
Have a great week and always remember that you are blessed, brilliant, and beautiful. Stay positive. Stay great.
Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
