Calling all readers, writers, givers, and lovers of education! For the month of August, Project Girl Undefined is holding a writing journal drive for Write Girl and Girls Write Pittsburgh called For the Love of Writing!
WriteGirl is a creative writing and mentoring organization that promotes creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills to empower teen girls. WriteGirl is a Los Angeles-based creative writing and mentoring organization that spotlights the power of a girl and her pen. At WriteGirl, we match girls with women writers who mentor them in creative writing. WriteGirl is a thriving community with 200 volunteer women writers serving more than 500 girls annually. Every year, we produce dozens of workshops, panel discussions and special events to help girls get creative, get through high school and get to college! In fact, since 2001, 100% of our graduating seniors have entered college, many on full or partial scholarships.
Girls Write Pittsburgh inspires teen girls to find their voices through writing. Girls Write Pittsburgh is the city’s only program designed to empower teen girls through the creative expression of writing, exposing them to a world of opportunity, through the craft. Girls Write Pittsburgh is targeted to girls ages 13-18. Teen girls from all backgrounds with a desire to write, share, grow, and learn from the process of writing will benefit from the project aspects such as personal accountability, personal growth and development, critical thinking, communication, leadership, public speaking, social and interpersonal relationship skills development, and rhetoric.
Project Girl Undefined needs YOUR HELP! For the month of August, our goal is to make a difference in the lives of 50 girls! Please help Project Girl Undefined encourage the cultivating of education in the lives of young girls by participating in For the Love of Writing.

If you would like to sponsor a journal, please click here to donate at least $8 per journal.
We are encouraging all of our donors to write a personalized message to the girls which will be placed in the front of the journal with your name and the chosen inspiring message of your choosing. Once you have paid, an email will be sent to you regarding your sponsorship and how you are making a difference in the lives of these young girls. The final product image WILL be sent to you for conformation.
