Hey blessed, brilliant, beauties! You are probably wondering where in the world I have been this past week. No need to worry because I was cruising along the Atlantic and Caribbean seas to some of the most beautiful islands God has created. So, since you all couldn’t come with me, below is a sneak peek to my vacation to the Caribbean!
To start our journey, (I went with my fam for my mommy’ birthday) we began on the island of Puerto Rico, boarded Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas, and set sail to the beautiful St. Martin. When we arrived to St. Martin my sister and I spent the day exploring the culture, food, and of course, beautiful beaches.
Next stop was St. Kitts! On this day I opted out on the beach and decided to go on a tour of the island. It’s was sunny and beautiful the entire day and I learned so much about the economy and main source of income for this little country.
We left St. Kitts for the beautiful Antigua. This little island has stolen my heart. I have fallen in love with the people, the land, the food, and the waters. At Antigua, I went on another tour expect this time it was more focused on the history of the island. Antigua is not only rich in history but true, genuine beauty. If I had to recommend an island to visit, this would be the one for sure.
Our final and my absolute favorite stop was the beautiful island of Barbados. This island was full of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life and trust me, I’ve been to a lot of Caribbean beaches. The sand was extremely soft and the water was crystal clear. I would’ve stayed on that island for the rest of my life. I mean o probably would’ve been a million shades but don’t the say the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice? Anyway, in Barbados my fam and I went on an excursion that visited three beautiful beaches on the island. One even had sea turtles swimming in the deeper parts! After visiting Barbados I have concluded with great confidence that God IS an artist.
If you couldn’t tell, I really fell in love with the Caribbean (again!) after my vacay with my family. But, now it’s time to get ready for the school year. Keep checking the blog for some fun post about my life in college and some tips and tricks that I have learned that I’d love to share with y’all. I can’t wait to be back at school! See you soon my blessed, brilliant, beauties!
