Yay! I finally landed in Barcelona. I am super excited except the fact that it is about 5:00am EST. Anyway, my flights went super well! I flew from Raleigh to JFK in New York then from JFK to Barcelona. That seven hour flight to Barcelona wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Luckily the man I sat next to on the plan was super nice and was actually from Venezuela! How cool it that! I also accidentally stole his pillow mid flight. (My bad kind sir.) Anyway, I met a really cool girl named Victoria who is also doing the same program I am. She’s a bit older than me but she seems really fun and adventurous. I also met a friend named Morgan! She’s awesome! Shout out to Delta Airlines for making my first solo international flight super comfortable with dinner AND breakfast! Yummm. Can’t go wrong with a blueberry muffin and a nice hot cup of tea to start off your morning in another time zone. Well, that’s all for now. Once I reach the Barcelona airport, I will meet up with other students in my group and we will head to our first hotel! I’m super excited for all the tours and activities we have planned! ¡Hasta Luego Amigos!
